Because you have such high self esteem it means if you are rejected you see that the fault lies with the person doing the rejecting rather than yourself. This attitude does protect you from being distressed by such an action, but it is not a sensible one to adopt. If you keep getting rejected then maybe you should stop being so confident about your attributes, and check if you have any faults that need rectifying.

Between 11-20

Sometimes you can cope with rejection, other times you are unable to. It really depends on the reason for why you are being rejected, and by whom. Being rebuffed by someone you know and in particular are fond of is more likely to affect you, even if the rejection is relatively minor, than if a stranger rejects you. You need to learn to steel yourself against rejection, no matter where it comes from.

Between 21-30

You need to develop a thicker skin to stop yourself from being so upset by rejection. Not all rebuttals are personal, for instance if you are applying for a job and get turned down, it might be that another candidate had more qualifications, or maybe more experience than you. Before becoming immediately downhearted when you receive a rebuff, study why you were rejected, then you might well learn how to avoid it in future.
